A 7th generation Texan, John William Bogart was born October 9, 1987 in Dallas, Texas and is the second of four children, John began classical guitar study at age 4. Fascinated with rhythm, John asked to take tap dancing lessons at the studio where his sister was enrolled, and they gave him free lessons. He began classical piano study at 6 years of age and would ask his teacher to listen to his own compositions. By age 14, John was writing and recording his own music on piano and guitar. Inspired to write music through his dreams, John especially likes to compose on a small upright piano that he keeps by his bed.
